Kazna Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Kazna is a private, offline-first personal finance tracker. Our privacy policy is simple: we do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. Ever.

Your financial data stays on your device

All accounts, transactions, budgets, and settings are stored in a local database on your device. Kazna requires no account or registration, and has no server that receives your data. We have no access to your financial information and no way to obtain it.

Backups are yours

You can create backup files and store them wherever you choose, including your own Dropbox or Google Drive. Backups are initiated only by you and are transferred directly between your device and your own storage provider under that provider's terms. Backup encryption with a password of your choice is available. Authorization tokens for cloud providers are stored only on your device.

Network access

Kazna works fully offline. The app makes network requests only for:

No tracking

Kazna contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party trackers.

Permissions

Permissions the app requests (such as notifications for scheduled-payment reminders, or biometrics for the app lock) are used solely for the stated feature and never to gather data.

Data deletion

Because your data never leaves your device, deleting the app deletes all of its data. Sample/demo data can also be removed in-app at any time via "Exit demo".

Children

Kazna does not target children and, since it collects no data, processes no children's data.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date. The core promise — your data stays on your device — will not change.
